1. Check-In & Safety Briefing: Arrive at the meeting point, sign waivers, and receive equipment.

2. Kayak Introduction: Learn basic paddling techniques and safety measures.

3. Guided Tour: Embark on a 2-hour kayak journey through the bioluminescent bay, exploring mangrove channels and observing glowing waters.

4. Return & Wrap-Up: Conclude the tour and return to the starting point.

⚠️ Important Information & Safety:

• TOUR STARTING TIME: THE TOUR’S STARTING TIME MAY BE UP TO 45 MINUTES BEFORE OR AFTER THAN THE ONLINE SCHEDULE DUE TO CHANGES IN THE SUNSET AND SEASON

• Age Requirement: Minimum age 6 years

• General Responsibility: Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult to be paired with.

• Weight Limit: Maximum weight per person is 225 lbs; combined weight per kayak is 450 lbs

• Health Restrictions: Not suitable for pregnant women or individuals with certain medical conditions

• Safety Gear: Life jackets and all necessary equipment are provided

• Transportation: Round-trip transportation from San Juan is available for an additional fee; self-drive options are also available. Transportation will be provided given that at least 3 participants request the service.

• No singles kayak available. If your group is an odd number, the single one will be riding with another single from another group.

✨ Bioluminescence & Natural Conditions Disclaimer

• The bioluminescent glow is a natural phenomenon and its intensity varies daily due to environmental conditions beyond our control. Factors such as rainfall, tides, moon phases and brightness, cloud cover, water temperature, seasonal changes, sargassum, water clarity, and other natural events may affect the visibility and brightness of the glow.
• While our tour is commonly known as a “Bio Bay Night Kayak Tour,” the experience is designed to offer much more than the bioluminescence itself. Guests will enjoy a guided nighttime adventure featuring the peaceful atmosphere of the lagoon, the surrounding ecosystem, the night sky, and the unique experience of kayaking in Puerto Rico after dark.
• Because bioluminescence is a naturally occurring phenomenon, we cannot guarantee the intensity of the glow or that it will be visible during your visit. In certain conditions, our guides may provide tarps or other light-blocking materials to help guests better observe any available glow by reducing surrounding light pollution. However, the use of these materials does not guarantee visibility of the bioluminescence.
• By choosing to participate in the tour, guests acknowledge and accept that glow intensity may vary or be absent due to natural causes. If the tour operates as scheduled and guests choose to participate, refunds, credits, rescheduling, or compensation will not be provided due to low or absent bioluminescence visibility.

🕒 Standard Cancellations

• Full refund if cancellation is emailed 48+ hours before the scheduled tour.

• You will receive an email confirmation validating the cancellation.

❌ Last-Minute Bookings

• Any booking made less than 48 hours before the tour is final.

• No refunds or rescheduling for these bookings.

✅ Exceptions

Refunds or rescheduling may be allowed only for:

1. Weather-related cancellations by the tour operator.

2. Verified medical emergencies with proof from a licensed doctor in Puerto Rico.
