Saddle Up & Explore — Horseback Through the Foothills of El Yunque

🗺️ Itinerary

  1. Check-In & Safety Briefing – Arrive at our check-in counter, sign waiver, get helmet fitted.
  2. Horse Assignment & Short Lesson – Staff matches horse to rider, explains safety, and gives basic riding instructions.
  3. Trail Ride Begins – Enjoy the ride through foothill trails, observe vegetation and scenery.
  4. River Stop – Pause by the river to rest or cool off, optional shallow river dip depending on conditions.
  5. Return to Stables & Wrap-Up – Ride back, return gear, and conclude the experience.

  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Comfortable clothing for riding (Long pants recommended)
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Water bottle
  • Towel or swimsuit if you plan to enjoy water stops

⚠️ Important Information & Safety:

  • Age Requirement: Minimum age 3 years
  • Weight Limit: Maximum 235 lbs
  • Riding Experience: No prior experience required
  • Safety Gear: Helmets and all necessary riding equipment provided
  • Transportation: Round-trip transportation from San Juan is available for an additional fee; self-drive options are also available. Transportation will be provided given that at least 3 participants request the service.

⚠️ Booking & Cancellation Policy

🕒 Standard Cancellations

  • Full refund if cancellation is emailed 48+ hours before the scheduled tour.
  • You will receive an email confirmation validating the cancellation.

❌ Last-Minute Bookings

  • Any booking made less than 48 hours before the tour is final.
  • No refunds or rescheduling for these bookings.

✅ Exceptions

Refunds or rescheduling may be allowed only for:

  1. Weather-related cancellations by the tour operator.
  2. Verified medical emergencies with proof from a licensed doctor in Puerto Rico.
